Tiny Tots (Los Pañalitos)

Wednesdays 4:00 pm-4:30pm at the ACHS Dance Studio

Introduction includes counting, in both Spanish and English, and learning dance routines that teach about choreography elements such as moving in circles and straight lines. The class teaches steps, posture, musicality, social and motor/cognitive skills, and memorization while learning about traditional and contemporary folklorico dances.

SUMMER SESSION 2026

Tiny Tots Summer Session (Ages 3–5)

Our Tiny Tots Summer Session is a 6-week program designed for our youngest dancers to explore movement, culture, and creativity in a structured and engaging environment. Classes will meet Mondays from 4:00–4:45 PM at 418 Georgia St. and combine foundational Ballet Folklórico instruction with guided art activities. Dancers will be introduced to basic steps, rhythm, coordination, and cultural elements of folklórico, while also building confidence, listening skills, and classroom routines. Each class also includes a structured art component, giving students a creative outlet to reinforce themes from class and keep them engaged from start to finish. This program is ideal for beginners and young dancers who benefit from a balance of movement and hands-on activities in a supportive, age-appropriate setting.Spots are limited to 10 students to ensure quality instruction and individual attention.

Folklorico Fundamentals

Age 5 and up

Instruction includes learning folklorico techniques while building confidence, improving focus and coordination, developing social skills, and working in physical endurance and motor skills. Multiple performance options throughout the year!
